  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Seattle,Wa

"Took her through the whole festival in it. I lost count of how many people stopped us to ask where it came from."

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– San Diego, CA

"Assumed it would be stiff costume junk, but the leather softened to his shape after about a week, and the buckles are solid brass, not plated."

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Dallas, TX

"Got the first for my older cat and the younger one wouldn't leave it alone. Different colour this time so I can tell them apart."

Will My Cat Actually Wear It?

Most do, with a short introduction. The weight sits across the shoulders instead of pulling at the neck, which is usually what cats object to in a collar-style harness.

Start with a few minutes at a time for the first few days before taking them out in it. If your cat has never worn a harness before, plan on a week of short sessions rather than one.

Why Is Shipping A Little Long?

Every IRONPAW vest is made to order. Your purchase starts production immediately — each piece is cut, tooled, and hand-stitched individually before it ships.

Allow 4–5 weeks from your order date for production and dispatch. Once shipped you'll receive a tracking number by email. Estimated delivery after dispatch: 6–12 business days to the US, 8–14 business days to the UK and Europe, 10–16 business days to Australia and the rest of the world.

This is not a stocked product. Every piece is built for the cat it was ordered for.

Is Each actually Made By Me?

Yes, each garb is personally handmade by me, Amanda. I design, assemble, and finish each piece myself. These are not mass produced - each one is crafted with care, which means every armor is unique in its own way.

      • "She actually keeps it on"

"I've bought three harnesses she wriggled straight out of. This one she just accepts. Wore it to faire and four people stopped us to ask where it came from."

        Dallas, TX

      • "Way better than I expected"

"Bought it as a birthday gift figuring it was a fun novelty. The leather is thick and the tooling is pressed in properly, not printed on. Nicer than my own belt."

        Round Rock, TX

      • "My whole group chat wants one"

"Ordered it not expecting much for a cat. It showed up hand-stitched, and the knotwork is pressed right through the leather. Took one photo and got twelve replies asking for the link."

About Myself and Why I Do This...

I've been going to faires since I was nine. My mom sewed my first bodice out of curtain fabric and I wore it every weekend until the lacing gave out. Somewhere in those years I picked up a leather awl and never really put it down.

The cats came later. Two of them, both convinced they belong wherever I'm going. I made the first vest because I wanted to bring one of them to faire with me, and everything I could find was nylon, neon, and built like a dog leash. Nothing out there belonged in the world we were walking into.

So I cut one out of veg-tan and tooled it by hand. It took eleven tries to get the shoulder to sit right.

Every piece I make now is cut, stamped, stitched, and burnished by hand. The knotwork is pressed into the leather, not printed on it. No two come out identical, because they were never meant to.

This isn't a costume. It's a real harness for a real animal, made the way the rest of my kit is made. Your familiar should get to wear something as good as what you're wearing.

        That's why I do this.
